PCBA & Simpsonwood UMC Smart Lunch, Smart Kid Program - June 22, 2016
The Peachtree Corners Business Association (PCBA) is teaming up with Simpsonwood United Methodist Church for theSmart Lunch, Smart Kid (Action Ministries) program. We are providing volunteers to prepare lunches (at Simpsonwood UMC) and/or serve the lunches to Local Apartment Complex.
The PCBA has committed to provide volunteers for three separate days this summer (PEACHTREE CORNERS BUSINESS ASSOCIATION DAY).

Nearly 1 million children in Georgia schools are eligible to receive free or reduced-price lunch, a crucial meal that disappears in the summer. Smart Lunch, Smart Kid, through the dedication of thousands of volunteers and donors, ensures that these children are fed in the summer and on school breaks. Unlike other feeding programs, we take the food to the children in their neighborhoods, removing the barrier of lack of transportation.
