Peachtree Corners Business Association donates Check to Because One Matters
The Peachtree Corners Business Association (PCBA) awarded a check for $500 to Because One Matters at our September 22, 2022 PCBA Business After Hours Annual Charity Event!
Because One Matters is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to positively influence the trajectory of foster children and young adults from economically disadvantaged communities, providing hope, dignity, empowerment, mentorship, and economic opportunity to foster children and young adults from economically disadvantaged communities.
These funds will be used for the Because One Matters Wrapped in Love Foster Closet to allow foster parents and parents from underserved households to shop (free) for new and gently used clothing items. The Wrapped in Love Closet aims to provide the children we serve with the gift of hope for a better future and show them that their community supports and loves them. Funds will be used to purchase new underwear, socks & gloves, scarfs for our Wrapped in Love closet.

Our Outreach Committee and Board are impressed with their mission and their ability to provide hope to these families for the future. With the PCBA celebrating our 10 year anniversary, we are more committed than ever to find ways to engage and bring our business and community together", says Lisa Proctor, PCBA President.
Funds for the PCBA Community Outreach program are raised throughout the year from PCBA membership, sponsorship, and our annual charity event. Donations and scholarships are awarded at our monthly events so our members have the opportunity to learn more about these organizations.
