    Peachtree Corners Business Association Celebrates a Year of Giving Back
    Peachtree Corners Business Association (PCBA) supports the community with $7,000 in giving throughout 2020.  This included their PCBA Feeding The Front Line program, student scholarships, and other community giving.
    Peachtree Corners, GA. – The Peachtree Corners Business Association (PCBA)’s 2020 focus was supporting business growth and the community through outreach.  In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization launched the PCBA Feeding the Front Line Program.  The program worked with local restaurants to prepare meals for workers including those in healthcare, EMT, first responders.  Over 300 meals were distributed to front line workers. 

    Additionally, PCBA supported other local charities and scholarships totaling an additional $6,000 in giving.  The organization was also a sponsor of the 9.11 memorial event held at the Peachtree Corners Veterans Monument on September 11.  This year’s scholarships were awarded to graduating high school seniors from Norcross High School and Wesleyan School.

    Charities and non-profits PCBA supported in 2020 included:

    • Pinckneyville Middle School, ESOL program
    • Fur Kids – supporting no-kill animal shelter in Peachtree Corners
    • Norcross Meals on Wheels
    • Georgia Center for Opportunity, Hiring While Doing Good program
    • Gwinnett City Police Foundation
    • Rainbow Village, COVID-19Meal Program
    • Norcross High School Foundation
    • Good Samaritan Health Center of Gwinnett

    “2020 has been a challenging year for many people and businesses in the Peachtree Corners community.  The PCBA, which is run by volunteers, was honored to have the opportunity to provide resources and support to the community,” explained Allison Reinert, the Communications Chair for the PCBA.  “We pivoted our programs to include virtual events and socially distanced in-person events based on CDC guidelines,” said Ms. Reinert.

    The PCBA is dedicated to giving back to the community.  Since 2013, the Peachtree Corners Business Association has donated over $90,000 to local charities and non-profit groups.  Additionally, the PCBA launched an online Resource Center to help provide COVID-19 resources to businesses.
