News Release: Corners Outreach to Celebrate Grand Opening of Corners Market in Norcross

NORCROSS, GA — March 10, 2026 — Corners Outreach will celebrate the grand opening of Corners Market, a dignity-centered, choice-based food pantry, on Tuesday, March 10 at 12:00 PM at its Community Center located at 1854 Shackleford Court in Norcross.

Corners Market is designed to serve families already enrolled in Corners Academy and Workforce programs, integrating food access with long-term economic mobility. Rather than a traditional food giveaway model, families will shop in a welcoming market environment, selecting groceries that meet their cultural and dietary needs.

Currently, 390 families are registered to participate. The Market anticipates distributing approximately 10,000 pounds of food per week with the support of 30 community volunteers.

“Food insecurity is real in Gwinnett County,” said Larry Campbell, President and CEO of Corners Outreach. “But relief alone is not enough. Corners Market will allow us to meet immediate needs while also encouraging long-term stability through education and workforce development.”

The project represents a significant community investment. Gwinnett County, Perimeter Church, the Community Foundation of Northeast Georgia, and the Gwinnett Rotary Club contributed more than $600,000 toward the buildout and equipping of the space.

The Grand Opening will include a ribbon cutting, brief remarks from community leaders, and guided tours of the Market and Corners Outreach’s Community Center.
