Warehouse Operations and Inventory Specialist

Position Overview:

This role involves managing inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate inventory updating and reporting and maintaining warehouse organization and operation. Computer skills and experience with FedEx and UPS shipping software is required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage inbound and outbound shipments using the FedEx and UPS shipping stations.
• Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas, ensuring efficient handling of goods.
• Attention to detail in verifying shipment contents and documentation accuracy.
• Utilize computer systems for inventory management; previous experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
• Safely operate forklift equipment to move and store materials as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet shipping deadlines.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of utilizing FedEx and UPS shipping software.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in computer usage; experience with the Microsoft Suite and NetSuite is helpful.
• Previous knowledge of setting up and maintaining an inventory system preferred.
• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 Ibs.
• Full-time availability during daytime business hours, Monday to Friday
• A Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Forklift certification advantageous but not required.
